Halloween Dash Bash 5k

EVENT: Halloween theme harvest races on mostly grass and compact trail with some sidewalk, making for a speedy course! Whisper Running is hosting a youth running event prior to the Whisper Community 5k. The entire schedule includes the following races:
9:00am 2k (8 & under boys and girls)
9:30am 3k (9-10 boys and girls)
10:00am 3k (11-12 boys and girls)
10:30am 4k (13-14 boys and girls)
11:00am 5k High School Girls
11:30am 5k High School Boys
12:00pm Whisper Community Open/Community 5k

REGISTRATION: Registration opens September 1, 2026, and closes at 11:59pm on Sunday, October 18, 2026. No refunds. Race options include:
Youth 2k, 3k, 4k, & high school 5k registration on athletic.net.
Open/Community 5k - online registration preferred ($13 + processing/taxes), however, we will offer day-of-race registration ($25).
LOCATION: Pacific Community Park, 1515 NE 164th Ave, Vancouver, WA 98684
DATE: Saturday, October 24, 2026
PARKING: Click here for preferred parking locations. West and/or east entrance to the park. East lot has the most parking spaces. Additional parking at Pacific Middle School and Harmony Elementary, which are NE of the park and within 1/4 mile of the park.
AWARDS: Medals will be awarded to the top-15 runners in all races. Top boy and girl finisher from each race will receive a Halloween blanket!
